Summary: This work is a critical review of Baylos’ and Perez Rey’s work “The dismissal or the violence of the private power”. The first part of the work summarizes the main ideas of the reviewed book and emphasizes its importance in the updating of the studies about the dismissal in Spain. In the second part, we make some critical considerations about the law doctrine, about the present situation of the regulation of the dismissal in Spain and the different options of reform.

Working And Familiar Conciliation In The European Union: Hindrances, Advances And New Tendency Lines In The Area Of The Joint Responsibility

Summary: This work shows a critical analysis of the evolution of the questions related to the conciliation of responsibilities in the European Union. We consider the defects of an approach basically established in the rights of absence and form the perspective of the joint responsibility, we analyze the new events, regulations (Directive 2010/18) and jurisprudence in the Community area.
